I had the privileged of doing the road test for the Eleni Dress/Top. I sewed the knee length and the maxi dress. Made the knee length Eleni dress out of a rayon fabric, my favorite fabric to wear. Fabric design had a double border which I used for the lower portion of the dress and the sleeves.

I made the knee length dress with the off shoulder neckline. I used 1" knit elastic for a softer look. I measured the total length around my shoulders minus 2" to get the length to be sewn. Designer Stitch gives the measurements needed for this dress/top.

Designer Stitch gives complete, well written, instructions in constructing this beautiful garment. There is also a YouTube video on how to hack for the off the shoulders with added elastic for added support across the shoulders, which I used. You tube hack.

I also added a tie belt and a necktie, love the overall look with these added accessories which are included in the pattern.I paired my Eleni with a pair of red shoes for an added touch of color. I love the Bohemian look and style.

Shown below is the Eleni in the maxi length.

The newly released Eleni is on sale now. Pick your copy up and have fun picking your fabric for the look you are envisioning. Click on the link below for your copy.
